WBC Sri Lanka is the first and only internationally sanctioned and legal Muay Thai league in Sri Lanka will be held on 18th November at the Royal MAS Arena, Colombo. This prestigious event is organized by WBC Sri Lanka.

WBC Sri Lanka is a sanctioned organization that operates directly under its international counterpart World Boxing Council Muaythai (WBC Muaythai). World Boxing Council Muaythai (WBC Muaythai) is commissioned under the jurisdiction of the World Boxing Council (WBC) as a non-profit organization to regulate, control and supervise professional Muaythai events worldwide. The Organization also adheres to the standard rules and regulation for all Muaythai Competition as approved by the Board of Boxing Sport (Office of Professional Sports) Sports Authority of Thailand.
Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing) is a martial arts & combats sports that uses stand up fighting with various clinching techniques and it is known as the art of eight limbs.

There will be 8 fights, 16 fighters contending on this fight night. The main event will be a belt fight showcasing an upcoming ‘WBC-built’ fighter called Gevin Linden versus Ajmal Yakoob, who is a Sri Lanka Miuay Thai champion, also a popular top tier professional fighter in Sri Lanka who has fought in Dubai and Thailand.
