Pakistan played well and defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets in the Asia Cup Super 4 match held in Lahore. Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan were the top performers with the bat, helping Pakistan reach the 194-run target in 39.3 overs. Imam and Rizwan scored 78 (84) and 63* (79) respectively.

Earlier, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah delivered an impressive performance as Pakistan restricted Bangladesh to 193 runs in 38.4 overs. For Bangladesh, Mushfiqur Rahim scored 64 runs. Haris Rauf stood out as the leading bowler for the Pakistan team, claiming four wickets in just six overs.
