Wearing 100 international caps for a player representing the country in any sports is quite remarkable achievement.

Sri Lanka’s Tharijini Sivalingam made her 100th appearance for Sri Lanka in international encounters when she played against Fiji today (17July) during the Netball World Cup in England .

Tharjini Sivalingam (born 30 December 1978) a former skipper of the Sri Lankan netball team. She has been a regular member of Sri Lankan netball team in international netball since making her debut in 2009.

She is known for her unusually tall height and has been considered as one of the marquee players in the Sri Lankan netball history.

She is often regarded as the tallest netball player in the world and she is the most capped international netball player to represent Sri Lanka.
