Captain Kamindu Mendis produced a match winning unbeaten 88 off 39 balls as Colombo Kaps defeated Dambulla Sixers by 21 runs in the 12th match of the Lanka Premier League 2026.
Batting first, Colombo Kaps posted 197/5, with Kamindu leading the charge after a strong finish to the innings.
In reply, Dambulla Sixers fought back through Pavan Rathnayake (50) and Marques Ackerman (40) but were restricted to 176/8. Shahnawaz Dahani (2/20) and Mujeeb Ur Rahman (2/33) led the bowling attack to seal the victory.
