Kandy Royals secured a convincing 43 run win over Dambulla Sixers in the sixth match of the Lanka Premier League 2026 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.
After being asked to bat first, the Royals posted a strong total of 194/6. Lahiru Udara top scored with 51, while Angelo Mathews remained unbeaten on 29 and Wanindu Hasaranga added a quick 29 to give the innings a strong finish.
In reply, Sahibzada Farhan kept Dambulla Sixers in the chase with an excellent 74, but he did not receive enough support from the other batters. Nuwan Thushara starred with the ball, taking four wickets, as Kandy Royals restricted the Sixers to 151/8 to register their second win of the tournament.
