In the second ODI Between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Hambanthota. Sri Lanka Skipper Dasun Shanaka won the toss and choose to bat first. SL Opening batsman’s Pathum Nissanka and Dimuth Karunaratne scored 82 partnerships for first wicket. Dimuth scored 52 runs for 62 balls and Pathum scored 43 runs for 56 balls. Kusal Mendis displayed a brilliant performance scoring 78 runs with seven fours and six. Sadeera Samarawickrama and Dhananjaya de Silva scored 44 and 29 runs respectively that helped SL to post 323/6 in 50 overs. Fareed Ahmad and Mohammad Nabi took 2 wickets each for Afghanistan.
