Sri Lanka Cricket are to bring back Paul Farbrace once again to be the Head Coach according to reputed sources. It is learnt that he and the fielding coach are to be the only foreign coaches in the time being.

Paul Farbrace was the Assistance Head coach under Trevoy Bayliss in 2012 and in 2014, was appointed the Head Coach of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka won the T20 World Cup in that short time until he left for England.

Sri Lanka’s upcoming tour in Australia will be a decisive one as they will be the hosts for this year’s World Cup. Despite World Cup winners like David Warner, Mitchell Marsh and coach Justin Langer absent for the tour, this tour cannot be taken lightly.
