Sri Lanka Under 19 Set Off For Asia Cup

The Sri Lanka U19 squad for the Asia Cup will be leaving the island. The team will be the same as the one played against England.

Though meant to be the same 18 member squad, Lahiru Abeysinghe will unfortunately miss out due to a sudden injury and there is no replacement for him. The players were restricted in a bubble.

11.) Wanuja Sahan (St. Peter’s College, Colombo)

12.) Anjala Bandara (St.Anthony’s College, Kandy)

14.) Yasiru Rodrigo (S. Thomas’ College, Mt.Lavinia)

The tournament is to be held from the 23rd to the 31st of December. India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, UAE, Nepal, Kuwait and Bangladesh will feature in the tournament. Sri Lanka is set to play in Group B.
