Wanidu Hasaranga will miss the upcoming T20I series against India. He is yet to recover from COVID-19 and has tested positive in the latest PCR test.
Hasaranga earlier tested positive in Australia and was ruled out of the last three games of the Australia series. He still remains in Australia despite recovering from COVID-19.
It is also learnt that he will now be unable to leave the country as he has still tested positive for Covid despite ending his 7-day mandatory quarantine period.
Thereby, he will not be able to participate in the India series that will commence tomorrow.
