Sri Lanka’s Kumudu Priyanka took take part in her last event at the competition today but could not progress further but able to register her personal best.
31 year old Priyanka competed in women’s T46 100m event first heat and finished last with a time of 13.71 seconds. She bettered her previous performance of 14.28 seconds.
The race got underway at 11.47 am local time (13.17 SL Time). Lu Li of China won the heat with a time of 12.54 and Angelina Lanza finished second with the time of 12.60 seconds to earn herself a position at the finals.
Kumudu Priyanka also competed in Women’s Long Jump T47 event on last Saturday and recorded a distance of 4.51m to register same as her personal best.
