Sri Lanka Women faced Pakistan Women in the first semi final of the Asian Games.
Pakistan scored 177 runs for 4 wickets. Ayesha Zafar scored 71 runs, while Shawaal Zulfiqar made 54.
Sri Lanka started their chase strongly. Imesha Dulani scored 27 runs, while Hasini Perera made 42. Captain Chamari Athapaththu played a brilliant innings, scoring an unbeaten 83 runs from 50 balls.
Sri Lanka reached 178 for 2 in just 17.5 overs and won the match by 8 wickets with 13 balls remaining.
With this victory, Sri Lanka advanced to the Asian Games final with India.
