Sri Lanka Women finished as runners-up in the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup after losing to India Women in the final in Dubai.
India batted first and scored 183 runs for 5 wickets. Shafali Verma scored 68 runs, while Smriti Mandhana made 59 runs.
Sri Lanka needed 184 runs to win but were bowled out for 111 runs in 20 overs. Skipper Chamari Athapaththu top scored with 36 runs, while Vishmi Gunaratne made 20.
India won the final by 72 runs and were crowned the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup champions. Sri Lanka finished the tournament as runners-up.
