Galle Gallants crushed Jaffna Kings by 60 runs in a dominant Lanka Premier League clash at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.
Batting first, the Gallants posted a strong 193/8 in 20 overs. Sahan Arachchige played a brilliant knock of 63 off 36 balls, while Chris Lynn added a quick 46 from 22 deliveries. Mohammad Nawaz also provided a late boost with 27 off 16 balls.
In reply, Jaffna Kings never recovered after losing early wickets. Despite a fighting 56 from Dunith Wellalage, the team was bowled out for 133 in 17.5 overs. Tharindu Ratnayake and Eshan Malinga starred with the ball, taking three wickets each to seal a convincing victory for Galle Gallants.
