Jaswar Umar, President of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka, has been appointed as the Senior Vice President of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) and as the Chairman of the South Asian Football Competition Committee. He has assumed these two international football leadership roles, further expanding his international responsibilities within the South Asian football landscape.
These new appointments further reinforce the responsibilities Mr. Jaswar Umar fulfills within the regional and international football landscape, as well as the confidence placed in him.
In addition to these new responsibilities, he currently serves as a member of the International Football Federation’s Grassroots Football Committee and the Asian Football Development Committee.
