Dambulla Sixers continued their strong form with a comfortable six wicket victory over Galle Gallants in the Lanka Premier League. Chasing 179, Reeza Hendricks played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 64 runs from 37 balls. Pavan Rathnayake added a quick 29, while Marques Ackerman scored 35 and Gulbadin Naib finished the match in style with an unbeaten 20 from just six balls.
Earlier, Galle Gallants posted 178/8, thanks to Chamika Karunaratne’s 45 and Sam Harper’s 40. Fazalhaq Farooqi starred with the ball for Dambulla, taking three wickets. However, the Sixers reached the target in just 16.1 overs, winning with 23 balls to spare.
