Galle Gallants booked their place in the Lanka Premier League 2026 Final with a convincing six wickets victory over Colombo Kaps in Qualifier 2 at the R. Premadasa Stadium.
After restricting Colombo Kaps to 176, thanks to two wickets each from Charith Asalanka and Sachindu Colombage the Gallants chased down the target in 18.4 overs. Sam Harper led the way with a superb 77 off 51 balls, while Charith Asalanka added a brilliant 59 off 42 as the pair shared a match winning partnership. Captain Dasun Shanaka finished the chase with a six, sealing the win with eight balls to spare.
With the victory, Galle Gallants advance to the LPL 2026 Final, where they will face Jaffna Kings.
