Dambulla Sixers claimed their first victory of the Lanka Premier League.

Batting first, Dambulla Sixers posted 205/6 in 20 overs. Reeza Hendricks starred with a brilliant 87* off the bat, hitting 11 fours and 2 sixes, while Gulbadin Naib added 46.

For Kandy Royals, Nuwan Thushara and Dushan Hemantha picked up two wickets each.

In reply, Kandy Royals struggled to build momentum as Dambulla Sixers bowlers took wickets at regular intervals. Despite fighting knocks from Dale Phillips (52) and Lahiru Udara (44), Kandy Royals finished on 187, giving Dambulla Sixers an 18-run victory.
