Sri Lanka Cricket has named 16-member squads for the upcoming white-ball tour of England, with Kusal Mendis appointed captain for both the ODI and T20I series.
Charith Asalanka has been named vice-captain in both formats, while former skipper Dasun Shanaka returns to the ODI squad as Sri Lanka step up their preparations for the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Shanaka has also retained his place in the T20I squad, providing experience to a side that continues to build towards the next major international cycle.
Lahiru Udara and Tharindu Rathnayake have been included in the T20I squad, while Pavan Rathnayake, Sachindu Colombage, Asitha Fernando and Dilshan Madushanka have been selected exclusively for the ODI series.
Several players will feature in both formats, including Pathum Nissanka, Kamil Mishara, Kamindu Mendis, Janith Liyanage, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dunith Wellalage, Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera and Eshan Malinga.
Sri Lanka are scheduled to depart for England on September 5 for a six-match white-ball campaign comprising three T20Is followed by three ODIs.
The T20I series will open in Southampton on September 15, with the second match scheduled for Cardiff on September 17 before the series concludes in Manchester on September 19.
The ODI campaign will begin in Durham on September 22, followed by the second match in Leeds on September 24 and the final ODI in London on September 27.
