The official Lanka Premier League 2026 captains’ media conference was held at Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo, ahead of the new season.
The five team captains attended the event:
- Dasun Shanaka – Galle Gallants
- Angelo Mathews – Kandy Royals
- Dinesh Chandimal – Dambulla Sixers
- Kusal Mendis – Colombo Kaps
- Bhanuka Rajapaksa – Jaffna Kings
The captains shared their thoughts on the upcoming tournament and expressed confidence in their teams as they prepare for the battle ahead.
The stage is all set for the Lanka Premier League 2026, beginning on 17 July.
