Gujarat Titans delivered a ruthless bowling performance to dismantle Sunrisers Hyderabad by 82-runs in a crucial IPL 2026 encounter at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Defending 168/5, GT’s bowlers ripped through SRH’s batting order, reducing them to 82/9 in a one-sided contest that strengthened Gujarat’s playoff push.
Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada provided the perfect start with early strikes in the powerplay, denying Hyderabad’s aggressive top order any momentum. Siraj kept things tight with disciplined lines, while Rabada removed key batters to put SRH under immediate pressure.
The collapse deepened in the middle overs as Jason Holder produced a match-defining spell. The West Indian all-rounder struck at crucial moments, including the big wicket of Heinrich Klaasen, as Hyderabad failed to recover from the early setbacks.
Prasidh Krishna added to SRH’s misery with another breakthrough late in the innings as wickets continued to tumble regularly. Earlier, Sai Sudharsan’s composed half-century helped GT post a competitive total on a surface that became increasingly difficult for strokeplay. Gujarat’s bowlers then ensured the target was more than enough with a relentless display.
