The Sri Lankan team arrived in Chinese Taipei yesterday to participate in the Asian Cup Qualifiers Group D football match between Chinese Taipei and Sri Lanka to be held tomorrow (31). Although both teams are participating in the final match of this group, both teams have lost their chances of qualifying for the next round based on the results of previous matches.
Sri Lanka defeated Chinese Taipei 3-1 in Colombo, so this second meeting between the two teams will be a very close one.
Chinese Taipei are at the bottom of the points table after losing all five matches in the Asian Cup qualifiers. However, Sri Lanka are in third place with six points after winning two of their five matches. Turkmenistan and Thailand are ahead with 12 points each
