Shabnim Ismail sets record for fastest delivery in women’s cricket with 132.1 kmph

Mumbai Indians’ star bowler Shabnim Ismail scripted history on Tuesday, March 6, as she bowled the fastest delivery in the history of women’s cricket during a WPL outing between MI and Delhi Capitals.

In the 3rd over of the match, Ismail clocked 132.1 kmph on the speedgun. Meg Lanning failed to read the pace and the ball hit the front pad, but luckily she survived the LBW appeal.
