More than 650 millions to develop football in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is going to be given an allocation of 02 million dollars (more than 65 crore rupees) from the International Football Confederation and Asian Football.

Mr. Jaswar Umar, the president of the Sri Lanka Football Institute, says that Sri Lanka is going to receive more than six hundred thousand dollars of that amount by next March.

These funds for the development of football infrastructure in Sri Lanka are provided by the International Football Confederation and the Asian Football Confederation under the annual allocations given to its member countries.
