Sri Lanka Cricket’s new selection committee has taken steps to name a core squad of 21 players for the ODI series with the Zimbabwe team.
This squad has several senior players who did not get a chance in the team before, and with this the squad for the ODI tournament is going to be selected.
In addition, a basic squad of 22 players has been named for the T20 series with Zimbabwe.
