Roshan Ranasinghe says he has been removed from his positions as the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs and Minister of Irrigation.
The SLPP parliamentarian said that he received a letter from President Ranil Wickremesinghe informing him that he has been removed from all his ministerial portfolios and positions with immediate effect.
The decision was taken by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Earlier in the day, Roshan Ranasinghe made startling claims in the parliament, noting that he fears that he will be assassinated, as his life is at risk.
“The President, Sagala Ratnayake, others will have to be responsible for it, if it happens,” he told the Parliament on Monday (27), in a special statement.
