Thenura Laksen, who represented Sri Lanka for the first time in the 14th World Bodybuilding and Physical Sports Championship held in South Korea, won the silver medal in the weight class above 75kg in the junior division.
The tournament was held in Wonju, South Korea from November 6 to 12 with the participation of about 500 athletes from 60 countries. Thenura arrived at Katunayake Airport on November 12.
His family members including his mother and a group of officials from the Bodybuilding and Physical Sports Federation welcomed Thenura on his arrival at the Katunayake Airport.
