India registered their sixth win in the ICC Cricket World Cup, defeating England at Ekana Sports City, Lucknow. England won the toss and chose to bowl first, while India managed to post 229 runs in their allocated overs. IND Skipper Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav scored 87 and 49 runs, respectively.
In reply, England again missed their chance to win and were all out for 129 in 34.5 overs. Mohammed Shami took 4 wickets for just 22 runs. This is the fifth loss for England in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. However, India secured the top spot on the table, and England remains at the bottom.
