Sri Lanka will field a four-member team for the 2023 ITF Asia Under-12 Girls’ Tennis Tournament Finals, which begins in Shymkent, Kazakhstan today.
The Sri Lankan Junior Team qualified to participate in this event after they emerged champions at the ITF Under-12 pre-qualifying tournament held in Bangladesh recently.
The Sri Lanka Girls Under-12 Tennis Team will include Sahansa Damsiluni, Hesandee Mallawaarachchi, Annaya Norbert and Janani Dahamsa with Kajendran Abarajithan accompanying the team as Coach.
Sri Lanka will be joined by Iran, Oman, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei and Macau in this tournament.
