Cameron Green’s unbeaten 64 runs off 40 balls, including 2 sixes and 6 fours, along with Ishan Kishan’s 38 runs helped MI post a total of 192/5 in 20 overs. Tilak Varma and skipper Rohit Sharma scored 37 and 28 runs respectively for MI. Marco Jansen took 2 wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T. Natarajan took one wicket each for SRH.
Chasing a target of 193 runs to win, Mayank Agarwal scored 48 runs, and Heinrich Klaasen scored 36 runs for SRH. However, SRH could only manage to score 178 all out, and MI won by 14 runs. Jason Behrendorff, Riley Meredith, and Piyush Chawla took 2 wickets each. With this victory, MI secured their third win in TATA IPL 2023.
