West Indies win a nail bitter by 3 runs and get on points table against Bangladesh.

In an exciting game at Sharjah West indies managed pull through by 3 runs against Bangladesh .

Put into bat the West indies went no where with the bat, as they could not get bat to ball. They made 28 runs for 2 wickets in the power play with 2 power hitters namely Chris Gayle dismissed for 4 , bowled by Mahedi Hassan , the Bangladeshi strike bowler also had the scalp of Even Lewis for 6 , wgen he had him caught at extra cover by Musfiqur Rahim.

The West Indies had no breathing pace, tge Tigers stangled tgem , with accurate bowlung , has the West Indians limoed to 48 for 3 in the 10th over.

A bit of life came into the West Indian batting as Roston Chase hung in , Whilst Shimron Hetmyer batted along side him.

Mahedi Hassan stuck again to dismiss Hetmyer for 9., hence at the end of 15 overs West indies looked in a horible and an hopeless situation on 84 for 4 wickets.

West Indies thanks to Nicholas Pooran who made a quick fire 40 in 22 balls in the back end of the innings got to 142 for 7 wickets in their alloted 20 overs.

Bangladesh too got off to a very cautious start. Shakibul Hassan opend the batting but made only 9 runs, Nahim Mohd Sheikh who made a wonderful 62 against Sri Lanka was cleaned up for 17 by Jason Holder. The Bangladesh batting loojed abit rusty as they toiled to 99 runs for 4 Wickets in 15 overs. They still looked well within striking rate with Litton Das on 36 and Muhamadulla tge captain at the wickets , looking in grest touch.

Litton Das should have batted on and won tge game forvthe Tigers.

End result he wss gone for 42 , Muhamadulla stuck around till the end with 29 but Bangladesh could not get over tge line and lost the game by 3 runs. Well done West indues a great late come come , which helped them to get on the points table.
