35 drawn for the Sri Lankan squad against West Indies

A 35-member Sri Lanka squad has begun training for the upcoming cricket series between the touring Sri Lanka and the West Indies.

Lasith Malinga, the permanent captain of the Sri Lanka Twenty20 team, has not been included in the squad. Although Pathum Nissanka has been included in the squad. It is surprise that Lahiru Udara who has performed well at the last season of Premier League has been dropped from the 35 – man squad.

Kusal Mendis, who was dropped from the recently concluded Sri Lanka-England second Test, has also been recalled to the training squad.
