WPAC2019- Six Sri Lankan athletes in action today

Dinesh Priyantha Herath will be in action -Men's T46 Javelin Throw

Sunday (10) is the most important day for Sri Lankan camp as six Sri Lankan athletes will be in action in search of a medal.

Asian double gold medalist Amila Prashan who won both 100m and 200m in T-42 category in Jakarta , Nuwan Indika and A.G. Chuladasa took part in men’s T44/T64 100 event heats. A.G Chuladasa is first to run in the first heat scheduled at 10.04 local time (11.34 am SL Time). The two heats of Nuwan Indika and Amila Prashan will take place at 10.12 am (SL Time 11.42 am) and 10.20 am (SL Time 11.50am) respectively.

Dinesh Priyantha Herath who won the bronze at the last Rio Paralympics in 2016 took part in his pet event F- 46 Javelin Throw and it will unfold at 18.06 local time (19.36 SL Time)

Buddila Indrapala will be in action in Men’s T42/63 Long Jump Final and the event scheduled at 19.39 local time (21.09 SL Time). Buddika indrapala T42 Long Jump event

. Nuwan Indiaka is to take part in Men’s T64 Long Jump event and pushed to straight finals to be worked off on Wednesday (13)

Palitha Bandara will take part in Men’s F42/F63 final  Shot final event scheduled at 20.08 local time (21.38 SL Time)
