Sachin de Silva registered an emphatic victory after leading in the LECTRA Golf Grand Prix 2019 September Edition concluded at the RCGC course on Saturday.
He led from the first round and posted an even-par final round to complete victory by four strokes over veteran JMD Indika who in turn claimed the runner-up spot 3 strokes ahead of B.A. Sanjeewa whose best fourth-round score of 68 (3 under par) helped him to clinch third place 2 strokes clear of Rajok Anarapadma.
Sachin de Silva’s four-round total of 278, six under par aggregate is a very creditable performance considering the fact that Indika the runner-up is the only other golfer to finish the 4 rounds aggregate score below par.
