The Army team succeeded in winning the T20 championship of the Inter-Club Tier B cricket tournament.
Having already secured the One-Day title in this year’s Tier B tournament, the Army defeated Leo Sports Club by six wickets in the T20 final held at the Anuradhapura District Cricket Stadium. The victorious Army team received the trophy along with a cash prize of Rs. 750,000, while the runners-up, Leo Sports Club, received Rs. 500,000.
