Rumesh Tharanga engaged in training yesterday, and the final event he is competing in at the Asian Games begins today at 4:45 PM (Sri Lanka time).
Although the preliminary round of his javelin throw event was scheduled for yesterday morning, organizers decided to cancel the preliminaries and proceed directly to the final, following the withdrawal of several athletes from the competition.
