Batting first, Jaffna Kings scored 179/6 in 20 overs. Kamil Mishara made 39 runs, while Avishka Fernando added 34. Chamindu Wickramasinghe played an outstanding innings of 43 runs from just 22 balls, hitting four fours and two sixes. Dunith Wellalage also scored a quick 19, helping Jaffna finish with a strong total.
In reply, Colombo Kaps had a poor start and lost early wickets. Captain Kamindu Mendis fought back with a brilliant 58 runs, while Wanuja Sahan remained unbeaten on 35 from 15 balls. However, Jaffna’s bowlers stayed calm in the final overs. Lizaad Williams took three wickets, while Dilshan Madushanka and Traveen Mathew claimed two wickets each.
