The wait is finally over! The Lanka Premier League 2026 got underway on 17 July with a spectacular opening ceremony, officially launching Sri Lanka’s biggest T20 cricket festival. The tournament will run until 8 August, featuring five teams battling for the championship.
The opening match is being played between defending champions Jaffna Kings and Galle Gallants at the SSC Grounds.
