Cristiano Ronaldo wrote himself into the World Cup record books as Portugal thrashed Uzbekistan 5-0 in Houston.
Ronaldo became the first player to score at six World Cups when he broke the deadlock early on.
He scored his second of the game shortly before the half-time interval. He now trails early Golden Boot pacesetter Lionel Messi by three goals.
Nuno Mendes, Rafael Leao and an unfortunate Abdukodir Khusanov own goal completed the rout, as Portugal bounced back from their 1-1 draw with DR Congo.
