Sri Lanka national football team head coach Abdullah Almutairi's contract signed under "The Next Chapter" program.
The Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) has taken steps to extend the service contract of national football team head coach Abdullah Almutairi under "The Next Chapter" program, which marks a new chapter in the history of Sri Lankan football.
The renewal of the contracts was made following a discussion between the President of the Sri Lanka Football Federation, Jaswar Umar, and the Head Coach, Abdullah Almutairi. Almutairi's first term is considered a remarkable success in the history of Sri Lankan football. Under his leadership, the Sri Lanka national team recorded many significant victories in international competitions in a short period of time, rising from 205th to 187th in the FIFA rankings.
