International Cricket Council Vice President Imran Khawaja and Indian Cricket Secretary Devajit Saikia met President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to discuss the future direction of Sri Lanka Cricket administration. This meeting comes after the appointment of a Sri Lanka Cricket Transformation Committee to undertake structural changes and reforms in Sri Lanka Cricket.
ICC officials also held discussions with the newly appointed Sri Lanka Cricket Transformation Committee at Cricket Headquarters, where they focused on creating transparent structural reforms
Following the resignation of the Cricket Executive Committee, including former Cricket Chairman Shammi Silva, on the 29th, a new two-member Sri Lanka Cricket Transformation Committee was appointed to oversee the administration of the game until the next election.
