“SiGo” promoted to National Course Director

Gobinath Sivarajah who is currently a Safeguarding Officer and Media Manager to the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka has been promoted to National Course Director to deliver the Olympics Solidarity Sport Admin Course.

In addition to this, he commenced reading the “International Sports Diplomacy” programme by the Hungarian University of Sports Science, among the first batch in this programme which is also the first and only one in the World as of now.

SiGo as he is fondly known, is a very versatile personality having worn many hats in his journey with NOCSL and has been very active in the academic side of sports. An alumni of University of Jaffna and Seoul National University, South Korea, he has an Applied Science background with a Masters in Sports Management.

An all round student since his school days and continuing his passion for sports, his commitment towards Sports Management and Advocacy for the betterment of Sri Lankan athletes through these kind of academic readings and Diplomacy is commendable. This will also enhance Sports Literacy and related studies among young undergraduates of a similar background.
