Earlier, Delhi Capitals elected to bowl first. Rashid Khan was the highest scorer for Gujarat, scoring 31 runs off 24 balls. Mukesh Kumar (3), Ishant Sharma (2), Tristan Stubbs (2), Khaleel Ahmed (1), and Axar Patel (1) picked up wickets for Delhi.
Chasing the 90-run target, Skipper Rishabh Pant and Sumit Kumar finished the game with 67 balls to spare. With this win, Delhi Capitals climbed to sixth place on the points table.
