Earlier, Skipper Faf du Plessis (61) and Dinesh Karthik (53*) helped post Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s innings to 196/8 in 20 overs. Jasprit Bumrah performed at his best as he took 5 wickets for just 21 runs for Mumbai Indians.
Chasing the target, Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma built up a quick 101 partnership for the first wicket. Ishan Kishan’s batting fireworks scored 69 runs including 7 fours and 5 sixes. However, Mumbai Indians chased down the target in 15.3 overs and registered their second win by 7 wickets.
