Lucknow Super Giants registered their second win in the IPL 2024 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
After winning the toss, Royal Challengers Bengaluru opted to field first. Quinton de Kock’s superb 81 runs, along with Nicholas Pooran’s quick 40 runs, helped Lucknow Super Giants post 181/5 in 20 overs. Glenn Maxwell (2), Mohammed Siraj (1), Yash Dayal (1), and Reece Topley (1) claimed wickets for Challengers.
In reply, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s batting lineup was not as strong this time as they scored 153 runs before being all out in 19.4 overs. Mayank Yadav was the standout bowler for Lucknow, taking 3 wickets.
