South African women recorded a victory over Sri Lankan women in their first T20 match in three match series by 79 runs which took place at the Willowmoore Park in Benoni.
After requesting to bat South Africa made 198 for 5 wickets with a magnificent century by Laura Wolvaardt (102). Marizanne Kapp added 60 runs to the total. Achini Kulasuriya took 2 wickets for 39 runs.
In Replay Lankan lasses managed to score only 119 . Harshitha Samarawickrama and Hasini Perera mage 38 and 30 uns respectively as the top scorers from the visitors
