The 08th Lawyers World Cup Cricket Tournament is scheduled to be held in this country from Friday (29th) to next January 06th.
This is the second time Sri Lanka is organizing this tournament.
The opening ceremony of the tournament will be held on December 28 at Colombo P. The final will be held at the Sara Oval Stadium and the final at the Sinhala Sports Club (SSC) on January 6.
08 teams representing Commonwealth countries are scheduled to participate in this year’s tournament.
Accordingly, India, England, Bangladesh, Pakistan B team and Sri Lanka B team are going to compete under Group A.
Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India B team, Bangladesh B team and Commonwealth team will compete under Group B.
All matches are scheduled to be held in and around Colombo.
The Sri Lankan team has won the runner-up in the Lawyers World Cup Cricket Tournament in 2011, 2017 and 2019.
