Sri Lankan Powerlifter Uvindu Jayasinghe competing in the 105kg category at the ongoing Asian Classic Powerlifting Championship in Malaysia was able to break the 300kg barrier in Squats, establishing a new national record and winning the Bronze medal for his incredible feat.
He finished overall 6th place, lifting a total of 762.5kg across all disciplines, a new National Record for his category while his 292.5kg deadlift is also a new National Record.
