Defending champion Trinity meets St. Joseph’s in final today

Defending champion Trinity College Kandy will meet St. Joseph’s College Colombo in the final of the Under 19 division 1 Tier A inter schools limited Overs cricket tournament at Thurstan grounds Colombo today.

Trinity College Kandy advanced to the quarter final as runner up in the same group in the first round. Trinity College Kandy beat Mahanama College Colombo in the quarter final. Trinity College Kandy beat Royal College Colombo in the semi final.

St. Joseph’s College Colombo advanced to the quarter final as fourth place of the same group in the first round. St. Joseph’s College Colombo beat Richmond College Galle last year runner up in the quarter final. St. Joseph’s College Colombo beat De Mazenod College Kandana in the semi final.

Sri Lanka youth cap Manula Kularathne will lead Trinity College Kandy and St. Joseph’s College Colombo will be led by Lahiru Amarasekara.
