With the tide security at Ahmedabad Narendra Modi Stadium yesterday a Palestine supporter was running into the ground with a T – shirt that said ‘stop bombing Palestine’ on one side and ‘free Palestine’ on the other during the India-Australia cricket World Cup final in Ahmedabad yesterday. This happened in the 14th over of the Australia innings when Virat Kohli and K.L Rahul were batting.
The Palestine supporter also appeared to hold a flag in his hand, which has been reported by some news organisations as a Palestine flag. However the Palestine-supporter was led away by security persons.
