Minister of Sports Roshan Ranasinghe has approved the Sri Lankan contingent for the upcoming 2023 Cricket World Cup.

The squad includes:
Dasun Shanaka – Captain
Kusal Mendis – Vice-Captain
Pathum Nissanka
Kusal Janith Perera
Dimuth Karunaratne
Charith Asalanka
Dananjaya De Silva
Sadeera Samarawickrama
Wanindu Hasaranga (subject to fitness)
Maheesh Theekshana (subject to fitness)
Dunith Wellalage
Kasun Rajitha
Dilshan Madushanka (subject to fitness)
Matheesha Pathirana
Lahiru Kumara
